We wanted to capture the spirit that is Bjorn Baker Racing - and that is epitomised by the moment that we win a race. No matter where it is, Bjorn and our whole team are quite well-known for getting excited and we want our owners and connections of every horse to feel the same. We celebrate together!

The team wanted to create a brand and shape that was different to every other logo in the industry.
ADDING A BIG, BOLD B

Bjorn is known for being bold in both his strategy and for his post-race reactions. We wanted to incorporate a “B” into the design to symbolise Bjorn as the trainer and found that the shape of the jockey when in position follows the shape of a B!
EXPERIMENTING WITH THE DESIGN

We tried several iterations of the design until we got to the logo that was what we were hoping for. There is a lot of thinking and work that goes into a logo!

THE MEANING BEHIND OUR COLOURS

Our silks are legacy - based on Murray Baker’s famous racing colours in New Zealand, Bjorn wanted to keep the tradition in his own training business when he came to Australia. The colours are actually based on the Swedish flag, which is a nod to Bjorn’s Swedish heritage and his mother, Marianne Baker.
ROYAL BLUE

Royal blue, as part of our racing silks, is not just a color; it's a symbol of regality, strength, and a sense of commanding presence on the racetrack. The richness and depth of royal blue evoke a sense of tradition and prestige, harking back to the historic use of the colour by royal families.
