WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?

Easter offers the crème de la creme of the best-bred fillies in the land. It is a challenge to sit on your hands and wait for your top pick when it is the third last lot through the ring but we put all of our eggs in one basket and came away with the queen of the sale in Lot 497.

By the best stallion in the land, I Am Invincible, and from the Group 2 winning Hennessy mare Dream Play, this filly is a half-sister to two stakes horses and will hold a lot of residual value.

She has all of the qualities of the best Vinnie fillies - natural strength and muscle with plenty of scope and athleticism. She has a speed-on-speed pedigree and will furnish into a quality Autumn 2yo filly.

She is already from an established female family but there is plenty of upside in the future with sisters in the breeding pool including the dam of this season’s Gimcrack placegetter Celestial Bling.

I place a fair emphasis on the nurseries my yearlings come from, as in a very competitive industry we are always looking for an edge. Knowing they have had the best start to life is an important piece in the puzzle and Kia Ora has an excellent track record with 16% of graduates being stakes horses over the last 5 years.
